Skin repairs better than it produces
Updated 4 August 2026
After thirty, the body stops making collagen on its own initiative. It only makes it when asked. Fractional RF microneedling is the most controlled way of asking.
What happens under the device
A head of very fine micro-needles enters the skin at a depth set to a tenth of a millimetre. At the tip of each needle a radiofrequency pulse is released, heating the tissue at depth without burning the surface.
The result is thousands of microscopic channels to repair. Skin responds exactly as it does to a wound — except the wound is so small it leaves no trace, and the response is new collagen, elastin and a denser dermis.
Why you don’t see it the next day
Because you can’t see collagen that hasn’t formed yet. The timeline runs roughly like this:
- 72 hours — redness, like the day after sun. Coverable with foundation the next day.
- 3 weeks — the first result: visibly smaller pores and a more even texture to the touch.
- 3 months — the full result. The new collagen has matured, and firmness holds for 12–18 months.
Who it works for
For enlarged pores, acne scarring, fine lines around the eyes and a jawline that has started to soften. It works on every skin type and can also be done on the neck, décolleté or hands.
We won’t do it if you have an active infection in the area, if you’re pregnant, or if you’ve taken isotretinoin in the last six months.
What it feels like
We apply a numbing cream and wait twenty minutes. After that you’re left with warmth and small pinpricks over the bony areas — forehead, cheekbones, jaw. We tell you what’s coming before each pass, and the intensity can be adjusted at any point.
The recommended course is 3 – 4 sessions, 4 weeks apart. A session takes 60 minutes, from 900 lei.
